After her world is torn apart and her family is carried off, a girl named Rui sets out on a desperate quest to save them. Her journey takes her across four distinct islands, spanning lush forests, scorching deserts, frozen wastes, and strange clockwork realms. Along the way she gathers Everlight, a mysterious source of energy, and battles the Shadows and other creatures that stand in her path.
