गेम के बारे में
गेमप्ले को एक वर्ष बनाने के लिए चार 30-दिवसीय सीज़न में विभाजित किया गया है। प्रत्येक दिन लगभग पन्द्रह मिनट से अधिक का होता है। अपने पूर्ववर्ती, हार्वेस्ट मून डीएस: आइलैंड ऑफ हैप्पीनेस के विपरीत, खिलाड़ी टच स्क्रीन के साथ गेम को नियंत्रित करने तक ही सीमित नहीं है। खेल के भीतर अन्य पात्रों से बात करना या तो चरित्र को टैप करके या उनका सामना करते समय ए बटन दबाकर सक्रिय किया जाता है। आपके पात्र को दौड़ने के लिए निर्देशित करते समय बी बटन को दबाया जा सकता है। हालाँकि खिलाड़ी अब बटनों का उपयोग कर सकता है, पुराना टचस्क्रीन नियंत्रण सिस्टम अभी भी बरकरार है।

Welcome to the Sunshine Islands, an island chain brimming with life. Some say the islands are not everything they once were, though. Many years ago, a great disaster befell the islands. Could there be a way to restore them? Maybe you can find out, Player! The islands are in peril! Years ago, a powerful earthquake struck the Sunshine Islands. In Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, it's up to the player to raise the sunken islands by finding the magical Sun Stones.
